** UPDATE **

Even with the recent new servers lag was still apparent tonight (Friday)

We have ordered another brand new dedicated server which should improve the situation. We hope to have this in place by Saturday afternoon (GMT)

Ok seems like the newer server is the answer. I’ll work out a plan in the next 24 hours to move the remaining chat servers to the new box.

For users that are having issues updating/downloading the client:

Please keep trying and be patient, a client on one of my XP machines took a few times to complete the download before starting up. I will also be moving the client downloads to a different server too to make sure that it speeds up.
